Hello darlings,
I bought this bird bath on clearance. It was a buy one get one free deal. I could not pass that offer, but we are not too crazy with the vinyl look. Here's the before picture.

So we decided to buy spray paint and
give it a good cover up, but first we
filled the inside of the base with cement
to make it stable.
Then came the paint.

Clever you, that's beautiful,as are your roses, very pretty. I love bird baths,it's so nice to sit in the garden and watch the little feathered creatures flutter about in their bath. Have a nice weekend xx
ReplyDeleteDearest Wendy,
ReplyDeleteThat turned out so well, far better than the bright white. Hard on the eyes of humans and maybe for birds as well. Smart for weighting it down with concrete! You can only do that once.
Love to you,
Mariette
It looks beautiful. I did the same thing to one of my birdbaths. I also put a clear coat over it. I love how they are coming out with so many different types of paints, don't you.
ReplyDeleteA beautiful birdbath behind that roses! Hope the birds will enjoy it!
ReplyDeleteRegards Janny.
It turned out great. I love when you spray paint plastic and it loses that "cheap" look. Great idea to weigh it down with concrete~ xo Diana

How pretty! We have a concrete birdbath, and it toppled over last week! Mr. Art @ Home needs to fix it.
ReplyDeleteNice idea. I love what spray paint does for a gal. Blessings.

ReplyDeleteWhat a good idea. It looks so nice amongst the roses.
