The Resurrection Story

Hello dear ones,

God's love for us was demonstrated through giving us His only Son, Jesus.  He died that we might receive forgiveness from sin, release from guilt, and eternal life through faith in Him.

Procession into Jerusalem
Matthew 21:6-11

Jerusalem stirred as Jesus entered the city.  "Who is this?" they asked.  The Crowds replied, "It's Jesus, the prophet from Nazareth in Galilee."

Christ's Last Supper
Mark 14:17-25, Mark 14:29-31, John 13:3-9

As Jesus and the disciples sat around a table, He pointed out that one would betray Him  Distressed, each asked, "I'm not the one, am I?"

In the Garden of Gethsemane
Luke 22:39-51

At the Gethsemane, Jesus told the disciples to pray so that they would not be overcome by temptation then He walked away and prayed, "Father, if You are willing, please take this cup of suffering away from Me.  Yet I want Your will, not Mine."

A mob approached, led by Judas, one of His twelve disciples.  Judas came up to Jesus and greeted Him with a kiss.  Jesus said, "Judas, how can you betray Me, the Son of Man, with a kiss?"

Judas, the traitor

The Governor's Judgment
Matthew 27:11-32

Now Jesus stood before Pilate, the Roman Governor, who asked, "Are you the King of the Jews?"  Jesus replied, "Yes, it is as you say."

Pilate asked the crowd, "What crime did He commit?  The crowd just roared louder, "Crucify Him!"

Barabbas

Christ's Crucifixion & Death
Luke 23:32-43, Luke 23:50-56, John 19:25-30

Two criminals were led out with Jesus to a place where all three were crucified-He on the center cross, the criminals on either side.

Jesus said, "Father, forgive these people, because they don't know what they are doing."

The Resurrection of Christ
Matthew 27:62-66, Matthew 28:2-4, Luke 24:1-10, Luke 24:46-53

The priests remember that Jesus had said He would be raised from the dead after three days so they had asked Pilate to seal the tomb until the third day to prevent Jesus' disciples from stealing His body and saying He came back to life.

Early in the morning there was a suddenly a great earthquake because an angel of the Lord came down from heaven and rolled aside the stone.

One day all of the pain, fear, death, disease, and war will be gone.  Our joy and hope will be complete, and all because of the penalty that Christ paid for us.
Revelation 21:4

Spring Tea

Hello dear ones,

It's Tea Time!  Come and share a cup of tea with us!

Spring has returned and with it comes lot of delightful things, like sweet little chicks, cute bunnies, singing birds, and the best of all . . . flowers.

Our first blooming of the season.

Here is another precious bird carved by my dear husband, an American Goldfinch.  My husband also carved his stand from a 2x4 piece of wood and tupelo wood.

Today we are serving an herbal tea and for the sweets we have chocolate almond treasures with chocolate drizzle and pecan queen baklava.

The chicks came from CTS.

The pecan from the Pecan Queen is missing!
I think one of the little chicks ate it. ;)

Every Bunny Welcome!

The lovely bunny came from HomeGoods and the tricycle, nest and flowers from CTS.
Got to love that store!

May your Spring be a blossoming one . . .

May your nest be full of His Glory . . .

Sweet spring is your time
is my time
is our time for springtime.

and May His beauty shine upon you!

Take some time to smell the flowers this blossoming season!

With love,

Encore

Hello dear ones,
We took some time off last summer, and when we came back home this is what it greet us.

(Click photos to enlarge)

My dear husband planted a total of twenty of this Crape Myrtle.  The first ones (10) that he planted, six of them died and the other four we transplanted to the backyard.  The reason why the trees died was because we had to much rain in that season.  So the next year we when back to the nursery and bought ten more.  This time we pick Crape Myrtles with a more intensive color, and I'm  so glad for that, because the color of the new ones are so vivid.  When everything  start to fade away late in summer time, I know that the best is yet to come.

Crape Myrtle

Do you know the name of this flower?

I hope you enjoyed the vivid colors of that awesome season . . . Summer!  I'm looking forward for vibrant colors in a near future!  What about you, sweet friend?

Blessings,
