Happily Ever After

Hello everyone,

Today I want to share with you the life cycle of the birds that nested in the wreath of our cottage .  Do you remember this photo? You can see it here .

From these beautiful eggs came five cute little birds.

Three out, two more to come...

They hatched.

I'm sorry for the messy home. :(

Can you see them?
They are so big now!

Here's a closed up.

This cute little bird was the last one to leave the nest.
All grown up and ready to fly!

A bird does not sing because it has an
answer. It sings because it has a song.
~ Chinese Proverb

Spring, the sweet Spring, is the year's pleasant
king; cold doth not sting, the pretty birds do
sing, Cukoo, jug-jug, pu-we, to-witta-woo!

  10. Oh Wendy, these roses are beautiful! I just recently put that quote on our blog, "Won't you come into my garden." I love it. How wonderful it must have been to see the little birds being born. I just saw my most beloved bird at the park today - the hummingbird. Your roses made me happy today, and it's just what I needed. That last picture is amazing.

  11. Dearest Wendy,

You were so fortunate for having such a bird family happily nest, breed and feed their little ones. Great photos, also the teenager that was last for leaving the nest!
Your roses are gorgeous too!! Enjoy the spring.
    Love to you,
    Mariette
