Tornado - One day after

Hello Dear Friends,
It's been a week already since that terrible tornado hit our area. It was so scary to see all those houses gone in just a few seconds.  A few minutes before the tornado hit that area, my husband and I drove by that road, we were heading to the garden center to buy mulch.  We heard the police sirens, and they where driving to our neighborhood direction.  Our daughter was at home alone.  A few minutes before the police went by she called, and told us that she was hearing some noises and that the cats where afraid.
So we hurried home, and this is what we saw in our way  . . .

My heart SANK and I started to CRY and PANIC . . . I tried to call my daughter's phone, but there was not communication, it was the  most horrifying day of our life.
Finally, we where able to pass that area., and the rest of the neighborhood was fine. THANK GOD for HIS MERCY and PROTECTION.  Our precious daughter was saved at home, and nobody died in that area where the tornado hit.  I'm going to let the photos do the talk.

These photos were taken the next day.  Here you can see they are cleaning and burning all the wood.

May our Lord's comfort be with all those that lost their loved ones in one of these disasters.

Have a blessed day!
XO

  9. Hi Wendy,
what an awful experience. Nice to hear that you were safe but sorry for all of those, who lost their home. It is unbelievable that some loose everything in the tornado and other houses near them are not concerned. Must be very hard.
    Best greetings, Johanna

  10. Hi Wendy, I had lost sight! (you know sometimes the fibromiagia is hard) But thank God I found your blog today for your comment. These photos are quite explicit about what happened, maybe it was lost and the experience is terrifying! And if by grace no one was physically affected,? it is no less frustrating. Understand how did you feel, knowing that your daughter was alone and that this phenomenon was near your area! I can only imagine the degree of distress suffered by your husband and you! But how wonderful everything was fine! I face everything in life I thank God! when I saw that God's providence and has saved me and the fam. is that their hearts were full of praise, God is good!

  12. Dearest Wendy,
Wow, your area is hit time after time... So sorry for all the damage and the losses for so many people. Oh, nature is so strong and those that deny that there is a God, they don't know what they're talking. May we always be protected and safe.
    Love to you,
    Mariette
