Happily Ever After

Hello everyone,

Today I want to share with you the life cycle of the birds that nested in the wreath of our cottage .  Do you remember this photo? You can see it here .

From these beautiful eggs came five cute little birds.

Three out, two more to come...

They hatched.

I'm sorry for the messy home. :(

Can you see them?
They are so big now!

Here's a closed up.

This cute little bird was the last one to leave the nest.
All grown up and ready to fly!

A bird does not sing because it has an
answer. It sings because it has a song.
~ Chinese Proverb

Spring, the sweet Spring, is the year's pleasant
king; cold doth not sting, the pretty birds do
sing, Cukoo, jug-jug, pu-we, to-witta-woo!
~Thomas Nashe

Walk on a rainbow trail; walk on a trail
of song, and all about you will be beauty.
There is a way out of every dark mist,
over a rainbow trail.

God loved the birds and invented trees.
Man loved the birds and invented cages .

Won't you come into the garden?

Titanic and Submarine Alvin
Source

Alvin was built in 1964 as one of the world' first deep-ocean submersibles.

Gwendolyn, Wesley and my husband had
 the opportunity to visit
 and see Alvin.

Wesley and friends at the command
center of the research ship, Atlantis,
were Alvin rides aboard.

Alvin's most famous exploits include surveying the wreck of RMS Titanic in 1986.

Engineer Theo Moniz, Gwendolyn and Wesley

Thank you so much Theo Moniz for taking us to explored such a fine submarine ~ Alvin .

Praise be to the God and Father of our
Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of
compassion and the God of all comfort,
who comforts us in all our troubles, so that
we can comfort those in any trouble with
the comfort we ourselves have received
from God.
The Book of  2 Corinthians

Now let's have tea to commemorate
the sinking of the Titanic!

What was the afternoon tea on the Titanic like?

Tea on the Titanic would have been very similar
to the teas given by Queen Victoria.

The elegant life~style of that era . . .

It would have been an impressive sight . . .

Gwendolyn

Last summer we visited the Titanic Museum .
Pigeon Forge, TN

When RMS Titanic set sail on her maiden voyage
April 10, 1912, she was the ultimate
passenger liner.

Some believe she was unsinkable . . .
but she collided with an iceberg late in the
evening of April 14,
sinks April 15, 1912, at 2:20 a.m.

Lord, dismiss us with thy blessing,
Hope, and comfort from above;
Let us each, thy peace possessing,
Triumph in redeeming love.

Teatime Gathering

Come, my friend, and join me for a cup of tea.  Let's not care that miles separate us.  Let's have tea!

Beautiful flowers from our garden as a gift for you!
Iris, Paperwhites,Tulips and Wisterias

This doll used to be in our old bedroom, and she's been laying inside a plastic box, but today she's joining us for tea.  Her dress does not match our new bedroom colors.  Someday, I would like to make her a new dress.

Our Wisteria vine's first bloom
Everything is blooming early this year,
Don't you think?

A precious bunny is joining us too!

Its colors are perfect match with the flowers

I love Wisteria, especially this kind.

Richest blessings

Love,
I'm joining . . .
