Celebrate the Splendor of Spring

What is it about spring that fascinates us?  Perhaps, the anticipation of flowers blooming, trees blossoming... beautiful shades of all colors, sparkling sunshine warming the air, and birds singing their sweet melodies... truly a wonder to behold!

I invite you for a walk in our garden... Enjoy God's precious gifts!

enjoys the air it breathes!"
~William Wordsworth

Spring

The sun lies light on a jade-green hill,
There's a burst of song from a loosened rill,
The wind warms the breast of
the new-turned sod,
And the note of a bird
links earth with God!

I love Spring anywhere, but if I
could choose, I would always greet
it in a garden.

The Spring of God

Across the edges of the world
there blows a wind
Mysterious with perfume of a Spring;
A Spring that is not of the
kindling earth,
That's more than scent of bloom
or gleam of bud;
The Spring of God in flower!
~William A. Percy

"A Flower's appeal is in its
contradictions-so delicate in
form yet strong in fragrance,
so small in size yet big in
beauty, so short in life yet
long on effect."
~Adabella Radici

How lovely it is to delight in
the rejuvenation of nature.

Mission Trip ~Holbrook Indian School~ Arizona

The Youth Class from our church goes to mission trips every year with their youth pastor.  This year my children and I joined them in the adventure, to help with construction work, painting,  and a week of prayer.  It was our privilege to help those at Holbrook Indian School ...  A special place where Native American children learn in a loving, accepting and safe environment where teachers care about them individually.

A man's heart plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps.

The Cross
The greatest example of our worth in the eyes of God is
the cross.  The Cross tell us that no matter what other
think of us, or what our society thinks of us, we are of
infinite value to the Creator of the Universe.

While working I used a small piece of wood to help with removing the
nails, and this is what I saw .
