Hello March

“The first blooms of spring always make my heart sing.”
~ S. Brown

Our first Daffodils from our garden

I love my Tea Rose collection made by Pfaltzgraff

What I like about Pfaltzgraff stoneware collection is that I can keep adding pieces to it, also if a dish breaks we can replace it.

Have a lovely day!
Love,

Spring Tea

Hello dear ones,

It's Tea Time!  Come and share a cup of tea with us!

Spring has returned and with it comes lot of delightful things, like sweet little chicks, cute bunnies, singing birds, and the best of all . . . flowers.

Our first blooming of the season.

Here is another precious bird carved by my dear husband, an American Goldfinch.  My husband also carved his stand from a 2x4 piece of wood and tupelo wood.

Today we are serving an herbal tea and for the sweets we have chocolate almond treasures with chocolate drizzle and pecan queen baklava.

The chicks came from CTS.

The pecan from the Pecan Queen is missing!
I think one of the little chicks ate it. ;)

Every Bunny Welcome!

The lovely bunny came from HomeGoods and the tricycle, nest and flowers from CTS.
Got to love that store!

May your Spring be a blossoming one . . .

May your nest be full of His Glory . . .

Sweet spring is your time
is my time
is our time for springtime.
~ E.E. Cummings

and May His beauty shine upon you!

Take some time to smell the flowers this blossoming season!

With love,

I'm joining . . .

Welcome Everybirdy

Hello everyone!
This past season was a delight to see all the birds busy building their nest.  My husband built six bird houses this past spring.  And after seeing that the sparrows where stealing the nests from the blue birds, we decided to buy another bird house built specially for blue birds, but guess what?  The blue birds didn't use their special house, they choose to use the very first one they where trying to build a nest at the beginning of the season.

Do you remember this? You can see it here .

(Click photos to enlarge)

Here's a little closer.  Every time I tried to get closer to them to take photos they fly away,  (My tiny camera doesn't zoom very much) Blue birds are very different from the Tree Swallows, which I was able to take photos of them two feet away.

The proud parents bringing food for their babies.

Let's peek inside the bird house!

One of them is yelling at me. . . Get out of here! I want my parents to feed me!

I'm looking forward to see them all grown-up, and as blue as can be . . .  perhaps like this pretty blue.
This is one of the many wild flowers we planted this past season.
(Sorry, but don't know the name.)

Mister Blue Bird you have won the fight!
Cheers to you and your cute family!

A new nest that I have just found.

I'm not sure if it's being abandoned.
To be continued . . .

May your day be filled with His splendor!
Blessings,

Specially for you!

Mother's Day  . . . an absolutely perfect day for a tea party!
Please, come along . . .   and enjoy some tea
al fresco.

The picnic basket is ready!

This china set was bought at a rummage sale, and the teapot
was bought at a yard sale.  It was a perfect match.

Today our first peony and roses will
grace our teatime.

I love pink roses!

A cute nest from last year, the pretty eggs where
found at our lawn.

When the season is over, I like to go and
search for abandon nests.  There's something
special about nests . . . Don't you think?

The pot of tea is ready . . .

Come and share a cup of tea . . .

. . . some fresh fruits, homemade peaches
and apple sauce.

God made mothers special . . .
There's something about a mother's love that's real and pure and strong ~ It's a blessing to her family just to know there's a place they belong . . .   She gently accepts them as they are, there's no need to pretend, She sees the good, believes in them, and loves them without end . . . She listens to worries, encourages dreams, and when she's as special as you, She's wished all the joy she has helped to create, and She's treasured each day all year through.

Happy Mother's Day!

With love always,

I'm joining . . .
